True Daughter is Wonderland Queen - Chapter 10

Five years later, in a peaceful mountain village, the famous Bright Star Pictures was filming the popular, show Leisure Life.

This program encouraged viewers to take a break from their busy lives and find solace in nature. It featured various celebrities experiencing the beauty of life together with their family and friends.

The program creatively combined half a day of live broadcasting with half a day of recording, ultimately bringing the content to viewers on TV.

The show featured a lineup of guests including veteran pop star Ryan, rising star Jackson, popular idol Molly, and experienced actress Emily,

They had just finished recording and were – all sitting in the courtyard, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their families and friends.

Oh, Jackson, my sweetie! Oh my God! I’m here for you now!

[I’m curious to see who their guest will be.

[I don’t know about the others, but I have a feeling Ryan must have invited his sister. His family members are all good–looking people. I can’t wait.

Emily smiled and asked, “Ryan, who did you invite?”

Ryan simply smiled and replied, “You’ll find out later”

Emily stopped asking questions and turned to chat with Molly instead.

Meanwhile, Jackon sat by himself, appearing indifferent to those around him. He leaned back in his chair, lazily scrolling through his phone.

[Jacksons is so arrogant. He ignores ignores everyone!]

Mr. Walker spoke up. “Everyone, we’re excited to welcome your family and friends to the stage  next.

Upon hearing this, Jackson sat up straight, a smile lighting up his eyes, Ryan also smiled. Meanwhile, Emily and Molly fell silent.

The first guest was Jason. He was new to the company and was invited by Molly. He was handsome and had several upcoming TV shows, making

him a future star.

He greeted everyone with a warm smile, “Hi, everyone I’m Jason. Tim really happy to be here.”

Molly got up to greet him and wrapped her arms around him in a hug.

Wow, it’s Jason. He’s so handsome! I really hope his friendship with Molly will last forever.]

[Isn’t he just a well connected star? How can he, a newcomer with no work on the air at all, be on such a big show?

[You’re jealous of him. Then the second guest showed. She wore light, understated makeup and a white dress, radiating youth with her genuine smile. It was Ryan’s sister.

During her college years, she garnered a lot of attention as the only sister of Ryan and a member of the affluent Jenkins family. She was known as Xena.

Due to frequently shared short videos and live streams on social media.

She sounded at everyone and said, “Hi. I’m Xena.”  She fluttered over to Ryan, who welcomed her with a gentle long- hug.

She’s so disgusting, he thought to himself.

Xena greeted everyone. Except for Jackson, everyone else responded to her warmly.

Xena looked at Jackson. Still stunned by his appearance, she smiled at him.

Jackson felt a wave of disgust and attempted to maintain has composure. “Please don’t get too close. Your brother is rip right here”

Hearing this. Xena’s face went pale. Ryan frowned and said. “Jackson, my sister means no harm. Why are you acting like this?”

Jackson said in a cold tone. “We just met. I don’t know her very well I don’t like the way she calls me. It’s too intimate.”

Ryan was speechless. He almost thought Jackson was being sarcastic.

“More from now on.”

Xena quickly replied. “Ryan, don’t be mad. It’s my fault. I’ll call him Mr. M

Jackson appeared impatient. “Is it done yet? Don’t keep everyone waiting

Xena gritted her teeth and said, “It’s okay. I’m sorry for holding you up.”

Except for Jackson” everyone said that it didn’t matter. The new guests walked in as well. Emily’s

Molly and Xena gasped in surprise. “It’s David!”

Emily’s smile was more genuine.

David Smith, the beast actor known for his impressive acting skills, rarely appeared on variety shows.

His facial features were refined. Dressed in a black shirt and regular jeans, he gave off a relaxed and understated vibe. “Hi there, I’m David,” he greeted everyone.

Wow. David is on this variety show! What’s his relationship with Emily!

[They’re friends. Don’t overthink it.

It’s a little awkward to come out behind the best actor, isn’t it I wonder who Jackson invited.

They’re supposed to invite their family and friends. It’s not a competition about connections. I just want to see cute girls and handsome guys!]

Emily got up and walked over to David. “Happy to see you here,” she said as she opened her arms. David smiled gently instead of hugging her Emily felt uneasy and decided to give up.

Xena approached David, her voice a little shy as she said, “Mr. Smith, I’m your big fan. I can’t believe I got to join a variety show with you. It’s truly an honor

She widened her eyes and gazed at David, filled with admiration

David smiled, his expression holding back his true feelings. “Thank you” He shook hands with Xena

Xena couldn’t contain her excitement, and her face was beaming with pleasure. She excitedly turned to Ryan.

He sounded wryly and said, “It must be tough for you to remember me when you’re watching your idol”

Xena shyly stomped her feet and exclaimed, “Ryan”

Emily smiled and said, “Well, Ryan, Xena is so shy, stop it.”

Ryan shook has head and fell silent. David took a seat as well. Mean while, Jackson rolled his eyes in silence, thinking. ‘It’s finally done!

The last guest slowed up. Jackson got up to welcome her.

With just a bit of makeup, her stunning appearance became even more radiant. She sported a simple high ponytail that added to her youthful look.

She came against the light, shining brightly. In the crowd’s gaze, she remains composed.
