The Infertile Luna’s Revenge and the Alpha’s Regret - Chapter 73
Chapter 73
Her wolf form was fully in control now, her instincts sharp, her movements precise. Each time she teleported, she could feel herself becoming stronger, more in tune with her power.
The Rogue King snarled in fury, his eyes wild with rage. He swung at her with all his might, but she was already gone— teleporting again, this time reappearing above him. With a roar, she lunged, sinking her teeth into his throat.
The Rogue King‘ s body trembled, but it was too late. The poison, the taunts, the chaos–it had all come to this. She had claimed her revenge.
With a final, savage bite, she killed him. The Rogue King crumpled beneath her, lifeless, his reign of terror finally over.
The battle had been won. The pack was safe. But many lives had fallen. The war had finally come to an end.
The land was quiet now, the battlefield silent after the bloodshed and fury of the past days. The Rogue King, his followers, and the chaos they had unleashed were gone. The Shadow Pack stood tall, its wolves victorious, but the cost had been great.
The price of revenge was always heavy, but Amelia, for the first time in so long, felt a weight lift off her shoulders. The haunting pain of losing her parents, the terror of the Rogue King’s reign, and the loss of the man who had once been her husband–all of it was now behind her.
Her family had been avenged. And yet, as she stood in the center of their newly claimed territory, her heart remained heavy. She‘ d fought with everything she had, but victory had a bittersweet taste. It always did, especially when the ones you loved were lost along the way.
Beside her, Logan stood tall, his presence a steadying force that had been with her since the very beginning of this journey. His gaze never left her, his eyes always watching for any signs of weakness, even though he knew she was strong. He knew her better than anyone, and understood the toll this all took on her.
“Amelia,” Logan‘ s deep voice broke through her thoughts, pulling her from the dark corners of her mind. “Are you okay?”
She nodded, though her gaze was distant.
“Just thinking,” she muttered softly as if saying the words aloud would somehow make the reality of it all sink in.
Logan reached out, his hand brushing against hers. She looked up, meeting his steady, comforting gaze. His eyes, the color of midnight, held a depth of understanding that she had never known with anyone else.
His hand tightened around hers, pulling, her into his embrace. “You’ve avenged them now.”
Her breath hitched as she leaned into him, burying her face in the crook of his neck. The smell of him–of forest and earth—was a balm to her wounded soul. He was her mate. Her fated Alpha. And despite the loss. and the pain, she had him. They had each other.
Days passed, and the world began to shift once again. The lands of the Lotus Pack, the pack that had once been Adam‘ s, now belonged to the Shadow Pack.
Logan, with the strength of the Shadow Pack behind him, had absorbed the lands of the Lotus Pack. The members of the Lotus Pack were now part of the Shadow Pack. They had no place to return to because they no longer had an Alpha.
Meanwhile, Asher went away after learning about the death of his brother. He had chosen to become a lone wolf, wandering the wilds, away from everything he had known. His heart was heavy, and his soul was dark, but there was no redemption for him now. He had lost everything, because just a week after Adam’s death, Aunt Camille also died, leaving Lotus Pack with no ruler, So their pack members pledged their loyalty to Alpha Logan.
Amelia turned her attention back to Logan, who stood beside her, his hand still wrapped around hers. The two of them stood together on the balcony of their home, overlooking the lands that now belonged to Shadow Pack. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the trees and hills. There was peace in the air, a calm after the storm.
He cupped her face, leaning in to press his lips gently to hers. The kiss was soft, full of love and promise.
