The Infertile Luna’s Revenge and the Alpha’s Regret - Chapter 61
Chapter 61
“Take him out,” Logan commanded again, his tone sharp and unwavering.
Adam’s struggles intensified as the guards dragged him further, but the weight of Logan’s Alpha aura pressed down on him like a crushing tide. It was a force Adam could neither fight nor ignore. The room seemed to hold its breath as Logan stepped closer, his presence commanding absolute submission.
“Enough,” Logan said, his voice low but carrying the weight of his dominance.
Adam froze, his body trembling as if an invisible hand pushed him down. His knees buckled beneath the unbearable pressure, and in a humiliating moment, het fell to the ground with a loud thud. Gasps filled the room, followed by murmurs of shock.
An Alpha had been forced to kneel–a humiliation beyond words.
Adam’s breaths came in ragged gasps as he tried to fight the invisible weight pressing him into submission. His pride screamed at him to stand, to resist, but his body refused to obey. He looked up, his face flushed with anger and shame, only to see Logan standing tall and unwavering, his hand resting protectively on Amelia’s lower back.
“You dare disrupt my wedding?”
Logan’s voice was cold, sharp as a blade. He leaned down slightly, his eyes locked on Adam‘ s. “This is what happens when you disrespect an Alpha in his own territory. You don’t deserve her, and you never did.”
Laughter rippled through the crowd. Whispers of mockery and ridicule reached Adam’s ears.
“An Alpha forced to his knees!” someone said.
“He’s no Alpha if he can’t even stand up to Logan,” another scoffed.
Adam’s head dropped, his shame complete. He had no face left to spare, no pride to salvage. Even as the guards pulled him up to escort him out, the humiliation of that moment would linger like a scar.
The hall quickly regained its celebratory atmosphere as Logan turned back to Amelia, his expression softening the moment his eyes met hers. “Are you all right?” he asked, his voice low, meant only for her.
She nodded, though her heart raced from the chaos. “Thank you,” she murmured, her gratitude evident in her eyes.
He offered a reassuring smile, his hand slipping into hers. “Let’s finish what we started.”
The officiant, who had stood frozen during the commotion, cleared his throat and resumed the ceremony. The moment the words “You may now kiss the bride” were spoken, Logan turned to Amelia, his hands gently cupping her face.
“Amelia,” he said softly, his voice filled with emotion. “Today, I vow to give you the love and protection you deserve. You are my everything.”
Tears glistened in Amelia‘ s eyes as she smiled. “And I vow to stand by your side, always.”
Their lips met in a tender kiss, sealing their bond before their pack, their allies, and the world. The hall erupted in cheers, applause echoing off the high ceilings as everyone celebrated the union of Alpha Logan and his Luna, Amelia.
The banquet following the ceremony was. nothing short of spectacular. Long tables laden with food stretched across the hall, laughter and music filling the air. Amelia, now seated beside Logan at the head table, couldn’t help but marvel at the warmth and acceptance surrounding her.
“Lama Amelia!” One of the guests called out, raising a glass in her honor.
“Welcome to the Shadow Pack. May your days here be filled with joy and strength!”
Amelia smiled warmly, nodding her thanks. “Thank you.”
Guests lined up to congratulate the couple. Logan’s Beta was among the first. He clasped Logan on the shoulder with a grin. “Well, it’s about time, Alpha. I thought you‘ d stay a bachelor forever.”
Logan laughed, a rare, hearty sound. “I thought so too. But fate had other plans.”
Greg turned to Amelia, bowing slightly.
“You’ve tamed him, Luna, Welcome to the pack. You’ve already made our Alpha a better man.”
Amelia blushed, feeling overwhelmed by the kindness of everyone around her. It was such a stark contrast to her life in the Lotus Pack, where she had been nothing more than a shadow, ridiculed and overlooked. Here, she was celebrated, cherished. The difference brought a lump to her throat.
