My Husband’s Murder Plan Book - Chapter 10
Gary seemed to realize that he would never please me, no matter how hard he tried, so he appeared less frequently.
When I was discharged from the hospital, he came to take me home. There were rose petals all the way from the door to the living room. Gary wanted to hold my hand, but I gently brushed him away.
Unexpectedly, he knelt on one knee, took out a diamond ring, and looked at me affectionately.
“Rachel, this is the diamond ring I promised you years ago. From today on, I will start over, pursue you, and make it up to you. ”
I took the diamond ring and checked it.
It was the same as the one in the picture that I sent him before. So, Gary knew I liked that ring. It wasn’t that he didn’t have the money to buy it.
He just didn’t want to buy it.
“But now, I really don’t need a diamond ring or his love. ” I thought.
“Gary, I just want a divorce!” I packed Mia’s things and my things and prepared to leave.
Gary, wearing an apron, brought out the last dish and looked at me pleadingly.
“Rachel, I will never divorce you! If someone has to leave today, it should be me. Can you stay and eat first? I made your favorite food. ”
The table was full of dishes, but I had no appetite. He finally remembered that I loved spicy food. I used to love spicy food before Mia was born.
But I changed my flavor for Gary. After Mia was born, I got used to light food. I even forgot that I used to feel so happy just for secretly having some chili peppers.
“From now on, I will never change myself or give up things I care for Gary. The things I’ve done to move him only moved myself. ” I thought.
I was grateful to Gary for beating me, which not only stopped me from doing more damage to myself but also let me see what kind of man he actually was.
“Gary, just stop pretending! I will never forgive you even if you die. Just sign the divorce paper. Staying with you just makes me feel sick!”
I didn’t have any of the food he cooked and left resolutely.
Before we got married, I bought a small apartment by the sea. Mia used to love staying there for a few days. She loved the sun, the sea, and the beach.
She could stay at the beach all day without doing anything. I decided to live there because I had doubts. Mia was a good girl.
I had brought her to the beach so many times, and she knew that she shouldn’t unless I took her.
go into the sea Even if she couldn’t stay where she was, Mia should have known to go to the public bathroom for me instead of walking into the sea herself.
The witness found by the police said that Mia followed other children to play in the water.
That was what I found suspicious. There were security patrols in that sea area. If a child fell into the water, the lifeguards would always rescue him in time.
However, the surveillance at the beach happened to be not working that day.
I never thought the worst of people, but when all these things came together, I couldn’t help but wonder if someone was behind all this! I spent half a month at the beach and became friends with a lifeguard.
The young man tried hard to recall what happened that day, and it was the same as what the police had told me.
However, it only made me trust my intuition more. The lifeguard just looked suspicious when he recalled the past.
His fingers kept stroking his trouser legs as if he was afraid that I would doubt him. Plus, he spoke to me with such a fluent fone, like he was reciting a book.
I showed him Linda’s photo.
“Do you know her?”
