Chapter 14 Harsh Remark 

“Hello Dr. Nielsen, I’m Rihanna Huerta, Jaslyn’s agent. You can call me 

Rihanna.” 

Rihanna looked like a strong working woman. Her hair was short. She was wearing a light blue business suit and rimless glasses. 

She walked across the ward to Yolanda and held out one hand. 

Yolanda put her hands into her pockets and ignored Rihanna. 

Rihanna shook her head with a smile. “Dr. Nielsen, you are not 30 yet, right? You are too young and impulsive. I bet you didn’t think it through.” 

Yolanda arched her brow. “What should I think about?” 

“You can tell us before posting the photo. We may buy it at a price. By the way, what’s your monthly salary?” 

“I didn’t know a photo is worth so much money,” Yolanda grunted with a look of regret. 

“It’s not too late. You can say you had secret feelings for Mr. Navarro and got near him on purpose.” 

“Then I let him hold my hands and smile at me on purpose? Who will buy it?” 

Rihanna was still smiling. “Dr. Nielsen, this is new to you, so you don’t understand. The netizens are just getting with the program and don’t care about the truth. We can lead them to believe the lie.” 

Yolanda nodded like she had learned something. “Too bad.”

“I’m not short of money.” 

Rihanna wiped the smile off her face and glanced at Jaslyn, telling her Yolanda was a hard nut to crack. 

“I heard your parents had passed and that you have no family in Eqifrora. Is that correct, Dr. Nielsen?” Rihanna turned back to Yolanda and said in a gruff voice. 

Yolanda snorted and didn’t answer. 

“Poor thing. No family to help you!” Rihanna’s eyes narrowed.” Then you should know your place and not offend those who you can’t afford to offend.” 

Yolanda shrugged. “What will happen to me if I offend you?” 

“You should know Navarro Medical Group owns this hospital, and Jaslyn is getting married to Mr. Navarro. When she becomes Mrs. Navarro, she can fire you anytime.” 

“I can work at another hospital.” 

“Navarro Medical Group is a dominant player in this industry. I’m sure no one will hire you as long as the Navarro family tells them not to.” 

Yolanda clamped her lips tightly together. 

Was Rihanna threatening to blacklist her? 

She believed that the Navarro family was capable of that. 

“I can see you are doing this the hard way.” Yolanda gave a derisive laugh and raised her chin. “Then what if I don’t be a doctor in the future?”

Rihanna squinted. “Dr. Nielsen, just take the fall and face people’s criticism. You are not a celebrity. It’s no big deal.” 

“I can’t stand being seen as a mistress. It’s humiliating. And I’m not such a shameless person.”

Jaslyn got angry about Yolanda’s harsh remark on her. 

Right then, Antwan came. 

He got in with a food container and handed it to Jaslyn’s assistant. He said it was soup and asked the assistant to pour some out for Jaslyn. 

Jaslyn burst into tears, ran to Yolanda, bowed, and begged, “Yolanda, I like being an actress. Please don’t ruin me.” 

Yolanda snorted. Jaslyn told her agent to threaten Yolanda before. But with Antwan there, Jaslyn began playing the victim. 

“I know you hate me because Antwan is marrying me. I apologize. Please explain the photo online and stop the anti–fans from blackening my name. I can’t stand it anymore. I’m afraid I’ll try to kill myself again.” 

Yolanda howled, “You are afraid of your name and career being ruined, so I should bear the consequences for you? Why? You did something wrong, while I didn’t.” 

“Do 

you want me to kneel?” Jaslyn asked and was about to get on her knees. 

But Antwan stopped her. 

“Antwan, please help me persuade Yolanda. Since she hates me for 

stealing you away, I can let you be together after we get married. I’ll turn a blind eye to it.”

Hearing that, Yolanda went ballistic and moved over to slap Jaslyn. But Antwan stopped her. So she slapped him instead. 

“How could you humiliate me like that?” 

Antwan scowled at Yolanda. But seeing the tears at the corners of her eyes, he bit back his words. 

“Shit. There is more.” The anger on Rihanna’s face grew as she was scrolling through her phone. “Jaslyn, the intimate photos of you and Wayne have been posted online and are on a trending topic now!” 

Jaslyn slumped in bed. “Who…who’s setting me up?” 

Rihanna shook her head. “No idea yet.” 

Then, she got a direct message, “You have 10 minutes to clear things up for Dr. Nielsen. Or more juicy things will be leaked.” 

Rihanna showed it to Antwan and Jaslyn, who turned to Yolanda after reading it. 

Yolanda smiled dismissively. “Do you think I’m capable of that?” 

Antwan sat on the sofa and took a deep breath. Then, he logged into his account, typed something, and posted it. 

“Dr. Nielsen and I have been together since we got into college, so the rumors about her online are not true. As for Jaslyn and I, we got together before I broke up with Dr. Nielsen. Neither of them knows that. Now, Dr. Nielsen and I are not together anymore, and Jaslyn’s baby is mine. I apologize to them. Please don’t make any more guesses about them. I’m the wrong one.” 

Antwan took the fall. Yolanda glanced at it and locked her phone. 

She didn’t care what he said. She just wanted her name to be cleared.

After she went back to her office, Kaylen moved close to her. 

“Yolanda, is there really no one behind you?” 

Yolanda was puzzled. “Why are you asking that?” 

“Whoever leaked the intimate photos of Jaslyn and Wayne should not be in show business. The person offended two big entertainment companies and didn’t play by the rules. No one in show business would be so reckless. After all, their enemies could revealdamaginginformation about them too.” 

Yolanda thought about the direct message to Rihanna. The person was clearly on Yolanda’s side. 

But who could it be? 

A person’s face sprang to Yolanda’s mind. 

Yolanda opened the chat box with Brent and typed, “Is it you?”
