Chapter 13 What’s Wrong With You? 

Yolanda straightened up abruptly and took out her phone to fix it. 

But Brent had replied, “OK.” 

Yolanda stared at the word for a long time. 

She was angry with the word “gift” Antwan had said. He sounded arrogant, suggesting no one would marry her. 

She had told him that she was gonna marry someone else, but he thought it was a joke. 

Yolanda tapped her forehead while trying to figure out how to fix it. 

Right then, Brent sent another message, “I told my family about the wedding date. They said it was great.” 

Yolanda didn’t see it coming. 

“Maybe it’s not so great,” she replied while shivering. 

“Why?” 

Yolanda gritted her teeth. “Because my ex is getting married that day.” 

“Then we’ll hold the wedding in style to spite him.” 

“You are not angry?” 

“Why would I be angry?” 

“Don’t you think I’m using you?”

“You agreed to marry me suddenly. It can’t be for no reason. If that’s why, I can understand and accept it. And I’m sure you won’t regret it.” 

Yolanda put her phone close to her heart as if Brent and his words were there too. 

Yolanda drifted off while having soup. 

When Caiden woke her up, they were in front of Block VIII. 

“Thank you,” she said to Caiden. 

He waved his hand. “Sure. It’s my job. How much I can earn depends on how often you need me.” 

Yolanda smiled. “Goodbye.” 

“Bye.” 

After Caiden left, Yolanda saw Elvis drive Antwan back. 

Antwan was asleep on the way, so he sobered up a little and got out of the car by himself. 

He paused when he saw Yolanda. 

“I thought you had your pride when you left with your luggage. Turns out you still have to come back.” 

Yolanda nodded at Elvis and got into Block VIII. 

Antwan came to the realization. “What? She’s been living across from my place?” 

Elvis pushed Antwan toward his place. “All right, just open the door.” 

Antwan snorted. “She said she’d cut all ties with me but moved into that

house. I told you she couldn’t get over me. She doesn’t really want to leave me. Do you believe she’ll agree to be my mistress after I marry Jaslyn?” 

“It’s your wishful thinking. Yolanda can’t agree.” Elvis frowned. 

“Wait and see. I’ll get her.” 

Antwan staggered to the door to his place and paused when he saw the combination lock. “It seems to be the day when we got together. Which day is it?” 

Elvis couldn’t help but roll his eyes. “160805. It’s Yolanda’s birthday too.” 

“Oh, right.” 

“Change the password to Jaslyn’s birthday. Then you will remember.” 

Antwan snorted. “You are right.” 

The next day, Yolanda went to work as usual. But there were a lot of Jaslyn’s fans at the entrance to the hospital, carrying banners, pressuring the hospital leaders into firing Yolanda. 

Yolanda went to her office, but not a single patient came in the morning. 

“What’s going on with the banners?” 

“I heard that a gynecologist named Nielsen seduced a patient’s fiancé.” 

“That kind of person can be a doctor? Who is she?” 

“The one in this office.” 

No patient was in Yolanda’s office, but a lot of patients gathered outside her office, staring at her like she was a clown and gossiping about her.

Yolanda typed while saying, “Why? I did nothing wrong. Besides, the netizens would eat me alive if I hadn’t come.” 

Kaylen signed. “Yeah. The fans are crazy.” 

She sat across from Yolanda and scrolled through her phone. Suddenly, she straightened up. 

“Yolanda, you are on a trending topic again.” 

Yolanda’s heart skipped a beat. “I’m under assault again?” 

“No. The photo you posted yesterday has gone out.” 

“But you said Jaslyn’s team had buried it secretly. 

“Yes. It looked like that yesterday. But why is it on a trending topic now?” 

Yolanda took out her phone to check it out. The ranking of the trending topic was going up. 

She selected the topic and saw there was not just criticism leveled at her like before. Instead, she saw many just comments and analyses. 

“It’s clear that Dr. Nielsen and Antwan were a couple in college. But Jaslyn said they had been together since college. It doesn’t fit the fact.” 

“And the doctor said she and Antwan had been together for 8 years. What was Jaslyn to him during those years?” 

“Since Jaslyn’s fans said the photo was fake, then show us the evidence. We are not idiots.”

Kaylen got excited by the comments, so she posted, “Dr. Nielsen and I are friends. The 150,000–dollar check she took away in the video was what Antwan owed her, but Jaslyn said it was compensation. Besides, she refused to clear things up for Dr. Nielsen after the scandal and let her fans humiliate Dr. Nielsen to hide her dirt.” 

Kaylen also posted a photo of Jaslyn’s fans surrounding the hospital and commented, “Jaslyn’s fans bullied an innocent person. I am appealing for Jaslyn and her team to clear things up for Dr. Nielsen ASAP.” 

Kaylen commented before, but Jaslyn’s fans buried it soon. It was different this time. Many people liked her comment and made it to the top. 

“Yolanda, did you pay people to do this for you too?” Kaylen turned to Yolanda. 

Yolanda shook her head. “Of course not. 

“Look. A dozen influential users posted your photos. It can’t be buried anymore. Jaslyn’s team is great. There must be someone powerful behind this.” 

“What do you mean?” 

“Someone is helping you secretly. 

“Didn’t you say it could be Jaslyn’s enemy?” 

Kaylen shook her head. “Her enemy isn’t that good.” 

In the afternoon, Yolanda went to Jaslyn’s ward while doing a round. 

There were several people there, dealing with something in anxiety.

“First of all, you are the one who threw mud at me. Second, I showed you mercy by posting only a photo. Finally, I’m not in show business, so I’m not capable of that.” 

J’I want you to tell everyone that the photo is fake or you pressed yourself against Antwan on purpose. Besides, admit Antwan and I are a couple and that you are jealous,” Jaslyn said with a long face. 

Yolanda couldn’t believe what she heard. “What’s wrong with you?”
